The Conference “Policy Impact Evaluation in Western Balkan” was held on 28 and 29 October 2015 in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina). It was the first conference with presentations of the papers in the region of the Western Balkan. The Conference was organised as one of 70 registered global events that are marking “Year of Evaluation” as declared by global evaluation community represented by the EvalPArtners and Unite Nations.

Regionally, the Conference took place as an important milestone on the path toward achievement of strategic goals of evaluators community to enhance new evaluative culture and professionalism in Western Balkan. Six national and one regional evaluation communities, consisting of more than 400 members, held their first regional conference in Sarajevo.The Conference was attended by 60 participants, including distinguished guests from the region, from international organisations that work in the region (EBRD, World Bank) as well as participants from evaluation societies in Poland, Romania and Bulgaria. The Conference was organised by the Evaluation Society in Bosnia and Herzegovina  (BHeval) as a member of the Western Balkan Evaluation Network (WBEN). It was an excellent opportunity for the professionals within the evaluation field to meet and to exchange the ideas.
